Copyright

An indispensable condition of accepting papers for publication in the Asian Journal of Biology Education (AJBE) is that all authors agree to transfer copyright of the accepted manuscript to the Asian Association for Biology Education (AABE). The purpose of this copyright transfer is to ensure consistent open-access licensing across all articles published in AJBE.

A signed Copyright Transfer Agreement must be submitted by the corresponding author after the manuscript has been accepted for publication and before the final version is prepared for publication.

All articles published in AJBE are made openly available under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, including for commercial purposes, provided that the original work is properly cited.

The Asian Association for Biology Education (AABE) will act to protect the moral rights of the authors and the integrity of the published works in cases of misuse or infringement.

Authors must obtain written permission to use any material (including figures, tables, or datasets) that has been published elsewhere, unless the material is distributed under a Creative Commons license that permits such reuse. In such cases, authors must clearly indicate the applicable license and provide appropriate acknowledgements and credits in their manuscripts. In all other cases, PDF files of all required permission letters must be submitted after the manuscript has been accepted for publication and before the final version is prepared for publication.
