The 19th biennial conference of the Asian Association for Biology Education will be held at the Warrnambool Campus of Deakin University, Victoria, Australia from 27-29 November, 2002.

Interested persons are invited to register for the conference and to present either spoken or poster papers. There will be sessions devoted to the following themes:

as well as open sessions which will include country reports.

There will also be an open forum on the topic

“New technologies in education – do they enhance learning?”

Registration: A$210 (currently 1A$= 49Usc)

Includes

  1. US$10 membership fee of AABE for two years
  2. Abstracts
  3. Welcome function on evening of 26 Nov
  4. Conference dinner
  5. Field excursion on 28 Nov
  6. Lunches, morning & afternoon teas
